ARS-Rescue Rooter benefits

401k is not great. Not competitive with other companies in the area at all.

I left Rescue Rooter in 2004. I was always in the top 5% of producers so I never had a problem with anything. Like anything in life if you are hard working, give back to the company you will be treated great. Rescue Rooter had good medical, had vacation pay and the salary because we worked on commission in my case was great!! I went on to start my own plumbing company and have never looked back.

Benefits at this company are Ok

401K Match is one of the best that I have seen

Very expensive benefits. It costs so much money out of your paycheck and almost covers nothing. You’ll also pay so much for services. They introduced a new cheaper plan this year in 2022 due to so many complaints but want you to fund it yourself through a high deductible HSA account. It’s a shame. PTO plan sucks. You aren’t eligible for 6 months after and it’s only 2 hours per paycheck. Your manager won’t approve time off either because it’s always busy.

401k match is much lower than average (15 cents on dollar)

Good benefits and easy on the pockets.

401k is poor. The company only gives a .20 match up to the first 4% and only does it once a year. Health and Dental insurance needs improvement as it doesn't cover a lot and costs the employee quite a bit.
