Well if you’re not educated on how to pick an appropriate plan for yourself, you’ll pick a lower value less benefit plan. I always picked ones you can have an HSA with. One it’s a good way to save on your taxes (helped me stay out of the 22% bracket for years) , and two if you decide to leave like I did, I took that account with me for doctor visits and medications. Also during vivid you could use your hsa for over the counter health needs. I personally used it for differing acne treatments that are sold over the counter.

Best thing is the pension and 401k with 5% match. Worse thing is accrued vacation.

Best health insurance plan I’ve ever had. Low deductible and low paycheck contribution for some of the best benefits I’ve ever seen.
