20% is a pretty big deal on car parts. This is not added on top of any other discounts or sales though

20% of everything except for special orders, periodically (approx. once every quarter) you get 30% off.

The employee discount is only helpful if you have to buy expensive parts for a large repair because their routine maintenance products and fluids are grossly overpriced even with the discount.

20% off. Can't use on sale items. So basically, it's not a "perk" if you're receiving the same discount on an item as a non-employee customer who's purchasing a on-sale item.

It's only 20%. There are days when you get 10% more discounted but they don't tell you when those days are. %20 Is nothing. I'll put it into perspective. You need a car battery. You choose one that's $99.99 + tax. With the tax rate at 8.25% it totals to $108.24. Applied discount, the new price becomes: $90.20. Only a small difference from the original price.
