Seems to be on par with the rest of the industry.

The high deductible plan has a lot of exclusions, so even when you reach your out of pocket maximum, it's not really close to an out of pocket maximum because it only applies to what's covered. There are many more exclusions than with the other major national insurer.

Eastman contributes to every employee's HSA account and the employee has the option to put in however much they want per paycheck

We have a young and healthy family. So the CDHPs are great for us, and there is a clinic onsite for small things like coughs and flu shots.

Share shifts toward employee each year. Problems with the network of providers - an entire hospital system included for years, then excluded for 2 years, then included again. Need more stability there.

Its a high deductible plan. Its not great, but its not horrible either. Eastman is slowly pushing more and more health care costs off of themselves and back onto the employees.

It is a high deductible plan which most employers are going to. Adequate contribution to HSA helps, but the change really hurts the retirees as they also have to switch to this type of plan instead of being grandfathered in to keep traditional plan.
