The deductible is a bit steep for the system, but the copays aren't bad. Avoid the ER at all costs, 250 copay first visit plus ded, and then afterwards the copay jumps 500. Urgent cares are much much cheaper under the plan. Overall for the cost and considering it's a hospital system, you may expect more but it's an overall decent plan.

Memorial Hermanns health insurance is very expensive. Some health care systems offer reduce cost to employees when they are admitted at the hospital they work for. Not Memorial Hermann.

limited physicians to choose from, copay and ded should be waived since you have to select memorial hermann physicians and hospitals or plan should be PPO.

They force you to go to Memorial Hermann facilities, great preventative care, but don't get sick.
