Sick Leave

The vacation and paid time off is ok but not great. You receive one week after one year and then two weeks after 5 years. After ten years of employment you will receive four weeks and that is the maximum you will receive. Health insurance there is a joke. They don't match enough of the 401k. Five sick days per physical year.

They really care about your health, you can take any number of sick days as long as you don't abuse it.

Same as vacation days, based on base pay not overall compensation.

Pretty strict, want a doctor's note if you miss a day.

Very difficult to be sick in this industry because you are expected to answer calls and emails at all times

At the time of my employment with the organization, ServiceMaster provided employees with paid Sick Days at a reasonable level.
