Training used to be better when they were held at the regional offices before the company changed to "hubs" now the training is just done online and the quality of training is not as good but also when it used to be done at the regional offices you often met the CEO's and Corporate leaders and you felt like you were a part of something big and amazing and the branding was everywhere. I feel State Farm has lost that and the pride that staff took away from those training and meetings is gone and that's very obvious to those of us who were around during those years.

Sitting in a class room with a bunch of different people, learning about useless history of the company and getting paid for it was fun

solid training if willing to work independently with online modules. most everything will have to be learned on the job with help from colleagues and agent.

They make a big issue of all their great job training, but in reality, they are just blowing smoke.

You'll have to put at least a little effort in, but they are very supportive of both insurance certification training and industry certs.
