the best thing about Sysco’s health insurance is flexibility + baseline contributions (such as the HSA contributions) and a decent set of plan options, which give employees a chance to pick something that suits their health/cost tolerance.
The worst thing is the cost burden on families / dependents especially when premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance stack up—and the potential for regional or role-based disparities in how “good” the coverage feels in practice.
