The care at military facilities is fairly good, but it is socialized medicine and sometimes difficult to get an appointment. Considering it is free, it is difficult to complain.

TRICARE will cover most expenses however it is becoming more and more difficult to get prompt payment if you see a doctor off post. Also it can take weeks to get an appointment to see your doctor on post. Sometimes they will even tell you to go to the ER for routine care which means you can sit for hours.

The best? it's always there... The worst? you have no idea as to the quality of care you will get...
