Walgreens employees who work 30+ hours per week can choose between two health insurance plans. Comprehensive health, dental and vision plans are available to employees for themselves and their dependents. Employees may choose to enroll in one of two Walgreens Consumer Driven Health Plans, which include an account called a Health Reimbursement Account to help pay for our employees’ healthcare needs. Employees can also choose between two dental programs with the Select option including Adult and Child orthodontia. A competitive and national vision program is also available. 2015 benefits will consist of a wide variety of medical, dental and vision options open to employees at the beginning of the new year.

They offer providers who cover trans healthcare, but they DON'T use these providers to cover prescriptions so HRT medication comes out of pocket.

You pick from a group of insurances to find one that best suits you and your budget, which I think is a nice touch for people who have certain needs from their insurance.

Incredibly costly for a health care company. I feel sorry for the minimum wage store employees who have to go with the minimum and high co pays and deductibles which is essentially no coverage.

Really good health insurance through reputable companies. I can actually afford to go to the doctor when I need to. Also offers family options and prescription plans to help if you don't have insurance.
