Walgreens employees who work 30+ hours per week can choose between two health insurance plans. Comprehensive health, dental and vision plans are available to employees for themselves and their dependents. Employees may choose to enroll in one of two Walgreens Consumer Driven Health Plans, which include an account called a Health Reimbursement Account to help pay for our employees’ healthcare needs. Employees can also choose between two dental programs with the Select option including Adult and Child orthodontia. A competitive and national vision program is also available. 2015 benefits will consist of a wide variety of medical, dental and vision options open to employees at the beginning of the new year.

It is good enough for those "just in case" measures to be in place. Long term, not a leader among corporations.

I am rating this a little lower because their insurance offerings have changed fairly drastically (not as broad a selection) with plans that have modestly higher deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums.

Walgreens used to offer more plans from more insurance companies. They have declined in this offering. What you get is still good programs.

When you include a family it gets very expensive, on a private exchange with high deductibles.

Fairly cheap health insurance if you are a health person. Depending on the plan you chose also.

Crappy. They barely offer any assistance in covereing anything. For a family of three, like mine, it was 136 dollards a pay period; so every two weeks. There was still a high deductable.

Excellent plans to choose from and working in pharmacy they are always ready to assist I. Your choice
