ABC Fitness Software Engineering Manager interview questions

First was a screening interview of about 1 hour with HR, then work-home assignment to create an API, it took me around 8 hours to complete (and it could be more time, but I decided to stop at some point) The second interview was 25 mins long with a senior engineering director. Two days later I received an automatic email response with a standard rejection. I sent an email to HR just to get some feedback about the process but they never responded. My advise is to apply for this company only if you are really interested to work in that business, the process requires a lot of time and energy.
