      District Manager Interview

      Jul 10, 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Dallas, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2020

      Interview

The interview process was multi step: 1. First interview with the recruiter - mostly around what I did at my previous job and him checking to see what I could bring to the team. 2. Was a phone conference interview with two of the Sales Executives that were firing questions around my previous experience and behavioral questions. They were willing to paint the picture of what I would be doing as well. 3. Role Play interview on Webex with 2 Sales Executive and the VP of Sales. I was a to run a discovery meeting with both sales executives being part of a company and utilize the different selling methods to get 1st, 2nd , and 3rd level information. 4. Video Interview with the VP of Sales: personality questions, behavioral questions, and genuine conversation around expectation and my personal thoughts. 5. Phone interview with the Divisional VP -- It was a call to talk about my experience, what I plan to bring to the team, and behavioral question - then allowed me to ask any questions.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ADP (Mississauga, ON) in Mar 2026

      Interview

very uncomfortable environment. the first interview with the VP was very professional. However.. both managers I met with in person were more interested in looking at their computers and nudging them towards each other. they asked 5 very basic questions to which I was able to answer and provide speficic examples from my experience. The next day, Friday, right at 5pm on the dot I received a rejection with no explanation as to why and no response when I asked for feedback. overall there was a very stressful and tense feeling within the office and I would NOT recommend joining the sales team here
