An initial phone interview was followed by two short aptitude tests, one online (which also included a personality portion) and another on-site. Both were relatively the same in content and focused on basic math skills, vocabulary, pattern recognition, etc. I was called a few days later to set up a day of interviews. The interview day consisted of five, 30 minute sessions with different members of the staff. The first two interviews were to test foreign language proficiency (required for the role for which I applied) and were primarily conversational in nature and vey enjoyable. The remaining three interviews were conducted in English with individuals of varying levels within the company, one in-person and two via conference calls with managers who work remotely. These conversations focused on why I wanted to work for Accruent in a consulting role when my previous work experience is in another field. The questions were predominantly behavioral and focused on specific instances in which I had led others, instigated projects on my own, the way I approach problems, learn, etc. After the interviews, my recruiter showed me around the office and went over the company benefits with me. I was then informed that I was being asked back one final interview with a hiring manager the following week. This interview was very much the same in content to the previous ones. I was very impressed with the entire interview process. My recruiter was very thorough in her communications with me and prompt in her responses. I also very much enjoyed the conversations with each of the individuals with whom I interviewed. They were all very relational and sincere in their manner of asking questions and responding to my own questions about the company. The people who I met seemed both intelligent and down to earth, making having a true exchange of ideas and experiences very natural. I felt that they truly wanted to find out if I would be a good fit for the company and if Accruent would be a right match for me. Going through the interview process made me very excited about the possibility of working alongside the individuals I met.
