Long and time-consuming interview process considering the role is pretty basic. Seems like they get many applications from people who don't understand what that role entails (that it's not consulting, it's expert network), so they will test you a lot on your understanding of the role.
First had a screening call with HR, just walking through my CV and experiences. Then the first round interview with a member from HR, asking classic competency-based questions (tell me about a time when...) but also questions around why Alphasights and your long-term career objectives. Then second-round case interview where you get to prepare 24h before the interview to find experts suitable for a case. In the actual interview they will test you on your understanding of value chain. Then the final-round interview with a senior person from the team they want you to join. This one was pretty tough and I got a bad impression of the working culture (micro-management and not much work-life balance). Seems like the role is pretty basic (you're literally just finding market experts on linked-in) but they push you really hard on explaining your career ambitions etc which is a bit odd considering it seems to be a pretty simple grad role with no real industry to progress into. I've also heard bad things from friends working there. Would recommend to very junior people with little to no work experience.
