I didn't apply for this position. They pulled my resume off of the internet, called me, and told me I was a string candidate for upcoming management positions they were looking to fill. A 1-on-1 interview was setup for the following morning. I did some initial research on the company and realized this was a sales job. When I met with the recruiter the next morning I quickly realized that I didn't contact me because of "special skills". The qualifications of the others that showed up for the interview ranged from high school graduate to a seasoned manager who was recently laid off. The recruiter told me it wasn't a sales job, but the presentation he had me listen to spoke all about starting off as an insurance agent who was to go to clients to sell the life insurance that they "needed". If you're driven and a good sales person, this may be the job for you. How much you make is based completely on how many contract you get signed.
