I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (Middletown, CT) in May 2018
Interview
I have been to processes similar to this one before. The email I received was vague and misleading and is meant to be that way. I receive a screening phone call that doesn't elaborate at all and think I should still at least check it out. When you arrive you are accompanied by many other applicants because of the high turnover rate. When you are called you are given a quick 5 minute interview then placed in a large presentation room with roughly 20 other people where you all take a personality exam to see if you could do the job. For about 30-45 min you have a charismatic employee who had worked his way up to Manager finally tell you about the company. His job is to sell you the job you thought you were applying for. He shows you everything you can be if you "follow the plan" and how much money you could earn. You're basically a consultant for people in a union and try to sell them the insurance or "let them know what they could have on this plan". After this 2 hour process you leave and they call you later that day to set you up with a trainer/mentor. It wasn't the job for me it reminded me of Vector and another insurance company interview that was basically a pyramid scheme. If you want a job like this its up to you but it wasn't for me and was a waste of my time.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
How long have you been at your current/previous position?
What makes you right for this job?(which is hard since you don't actually know what job this is, especially if you've been applying to many other positions)
I interviewed at American Income Life (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Interview so far was fair, mainly a presentation about the company, in group setting, with a manager 1:1 afterwards. Overall more a discussion than an interview, with a signup to start learning for the licensing exam.
I interviewed at American Income Life (Las Vegas, NV)
Interview
Overview video was watched. Also answered some questions at the end. Once questions are reviewed someone will reach out (if thought to be a good fit ) for a second interview. This part could take anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours. Once on to next step an interview will be conducted via zoom.
You’ll first receive an invitation to watch an introductory video. Then, you’ll be invited to a group presentation. After that, you’ll complete a one-on-one interview with a manager before getting hired.
