Interview
I applied in mid-December, met with a recruiter end of January and had an informal interview with a member of the team I would be working with first week of Feb. Seemed like everything went well and I was told they would get back to me the next week and that turned into being ghosted for 8 long weeks of checking my email every hour. These guys have zero respect for candidates especially veteran candidates to let them know in a timely manner like a week or two if they would be continuing with the interview process. Cool company but so cool they can treat anyone however they are please. I waited hand and foot and purposely didn’t make any plans with my wife and 4 year old daughter during my waiting or ghosting period just in case I was afforded the opportunity of a lifetime or so I thought. I was then emailed out of nowhere by the recruiter that I wasn’t selected. How about giving me a chance to compete for that job after stringing me along for 8 long weeks. Absolutely ridiculous and disappointing given how much of my heart I put into this process to be treated that way. I’m still a fan of the company and wish then well but if they treated me that way on the way in how would have that been if I was hired? As an actively serving member of the military I say pass on this employer, they have the hip and trendy factor right now but this will not last long with how they operate. Get into a place that respects your time and values your service to our nation and isn’t just trying to sell defense-tech products and hire a bunch of defense-tech fund grifters to work at the management ranks. You deserve better and we all do. Beware of them, because they could care less about you, your service to our nation, and this country but so much more about money and starting their own fund to grift.

Interview scheduling was completed via an email invitation with minimal personalization from the recruiter. The interview was conducted via a phone call directly from the recruiter to the phone number provided during the scheduling process.
Standard Recruiter Phone screen -> Hiring Mgr zoom interview -> On Site panel. They young defense company operates like FAANG company, while TPM interview questions are much easier than FAANG TPM's, no system design/oversight question, no system deep-dive, no technological and business trade-off discussion, purely (what is your xxx } Situation questions, they may already have pre-determined candidate and not interested asking me. Recruiter made the hiring process as effective as possible. Looking forward to seeing how Anduril runs defense contract with pure agile of SW without considering HW constraint, which is part of defense industry big domain of system engineering, it will be defense industry's revolution.
