Pros:
The interview process itself was thorough and largely applicable to the role and day-to-day work, which felt worthwhile. The take-home exercise was thoughtful and relevant.
Cons / Interview Experience:
Similar to other reviews, I found several interviewers to come across as somewhat aloof and disconnected. Multiple interviews felt distracted, with interviewers appearing to juggle their regular work during the conversation, including delayed responses and limited engagement.
While the take-home activity was well designed, it was unclear how deeply it was reviewed prior to the interview, as some interactions felt like the material was being read for the first time during the discussion. Given the significant time investment expected from candidates, this imbalance was disappointing.
It’s reasonable to expect a fast-paced, hard-working environment given the company’s stage and growth. However, there was repeated emphasis from a few interviewers on long hours and work intensity, which was framed almost as a point of pride.
Overall, the company has clear potential, but the interview experience suggested a culture that may feel intense and somewhat pretentious rather than collaborative or candidate-friendly.
