I was confused by the discrepancy between what you and the hiring manager and the recruiter told me about the role. The recruiter said that the role involved building a chargebacks process and representing disputes, and that I should prepare for technical questions on chargebacks. But when I spoke with the hiring manager, she said that she was not interested in the chargebacks process or representation, and that she was looking for a Data Analyst, as per her job description to write SQL queries. She also asked me several questions about Fraud process, which I was not expecting since I was applying for a Disputes role. It was confusing what the role was if for Fraud, Disputes or Technical data analyst? I felt that the information I received was conflicting and unclear, and that it affected my performance, and it created an extremely bad impression of AppFolio.
