Recruiter reached out and we had a short phone introduction (about 15 min). A few days later I ended up talking to another consultant on the phone for about 30 minutes. After that they asked me to come in for an in-person interview. I spoke to two VPs and two consultants for 30 minutes each. In the in-person interview, most of the time it was just open communication. Although they did ask me about my background, I often found myself asking more questions than they did. I think that they understood that my background was a good fit at this point, and just wanted to ensure that I was personable and had the necessary soft-skills to work with clients.
My interview process is different from engineers, who I've heard have to undergo an assessment of their technical skills.
Recruiters and interviewers were extremely knowledgable and professional, and the whole process went very smoothly. They were responsive when it came to my questions, and flexible with my start date. Although the company's mission and the work I'd be doing really drove my decision to go there, I think that the way they handled this whole process really pushed me to accept the offer - it seemed like they really wanted me on board, and were willing to work with me. Overall, this provided me with a very positive outlook on the company.
