I Had a phone call first with HR, this went well and was then scheduled to speak to the Global Professional Services Manager on the phone. Was told it wasn't an interview as such, more a chat about technical experience. Because of the time difference, I was told I would receive a call at 7pm on a particular day. That day came and no call came - no explanation was given either after an evening was wasted. A couple of weeks later they scheduled another call, this time he called - still no explanation. With it being 7pm I had just eaten dinner, winding down from the day and didn't feel I was well equipped to answer the type of questions he gave me, such as "What is your biggest achievement?". Was expecting a few questions related to my current role, but felt it was actually like a formal interview. A week or so later I was told via email that I wasn't being considered for the next stage (face to face interview) and my recruitment consultant told me that their feedback was that my communication was "Lacking".
Found the whole process rather strange and very unorganised. Had several HR people email me from one day to the next.
