Very code heavy interview process. Started with 30 min recruiter call to establish interest in the company and explain their mission. 45 min phone screen consisting of 1 LC medium. The virtual onsite is about 4 hours with 4 different interviewers, where each will ask their own technical question ranging from LC medium to LC hard. It also begins with a 30 minute behavioral where you are given 10 minutes to introduce yourself to all of your interviewers, followed by a Q&A. Unfortunately I was told they had filled their headcount after my onsite, but the last round would have been a 30 minute behavioral with a manager. Applied has a very strong focus on writing efficient code very quickly. They specify they want to see candidates who can prototype by thinking through different approaches, then start coding once they have the optimal solution. They also care about leaving enough time at the end for robust test cases - if you're interviewing here, practice being a fast and accurate coder.
