Third, a recruitment contractor was really really annoying with their constant emails which asked for 5 references. I received one email per day from them. My email blocked them and sent them to spam. Then a day interview with ~10 people. At the end of the day, I presented my previous work in a lecture hall to 30-40 people followed by questions from the audience. A few days later, another phone call from HR. Same classic HR questions were repeated. The person who claimed was the manager in HR was very unprofessional and not at all interested. They again asked me if they needed to sponsor my work authorization. A few days later, I received a call from them that said they basically needed a technician and not a scientist.
