There is always the lengthy application process, and it honestly took quite a while from application submission to interview/rejection letter phase. I had honestly forgotten all about applying here, as it had been at least a few months. The process was a typical interview with an HR representative, and a hiring manager. There seemed to be a aura that I really wasn't wanted there, and that this job was expecting me to "work" which seemed like code for do everything. The duties they described in the interview, where beyond what was in the description and that of the pay band there were willing to adhere to. The interview honestly seemed a little combative, with not really questions but more statement like in what I would be doing. They didn't seemed that interested in getting to know who I was, or what I knew, they simply wanted someone to run between departments and take care of a large portion of the project managers duties. I was interviewed in a conference room that had a glass wall with people kind of poking their heads in to see what was going on. It was not a pleasant interview, and after walking out I had already decided that this interview was more than likely a check in the box for them on the number of external candidates they needed to interview.
