A local Chicago recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and we spoke over the phone. It was followed by a phone interview with another recruiter, then a video interview with another local recruiter, and then a final interview with a manager who was supposed to be in person. The whole process was unnecessarily lengthy since none of the 3 recruiters could answer any of my questions regarding the specific role. It wasn't until I met the manager who could explain to me what the day-to-day role would look like. One of the recruiters misinformed me that the role's starting salary would be $45,000 and would include cash compensation, but I later found out from the manager that was false during the interview. The hours are 7am-5pm, no remote, responsibilities include tracking and communicating with a variety of stakeholders involved in the shipment process, and they have an in-depth training program so no prior experience is necessary.
