I applied to this graduate scheme in May and did my one side video interview. I then didn't hear back from them until October. I was invited to a 1 hour interview and they gave me one week prep time. The offer of interview email said I had to do a 10 min presentation followed by question and answers, more details to follow. I didn't hear anything for the next 2 days so I emailed back asking about what the presentation topic was. No response. I ended up doing the interview without the presentation and told them I didn't know about it. An hour after the interview was done, I received an email saying, the presentation should be on a project you have previously managed. It just felt like there was no communication between the HR team and the interviewers. I was sent an email 4 days later asking when I'll be free for a phone call for the outcome of my interview. I responded back saying 4:30 to 5pm sounds good. I waited a few days. Again no response. I emailed back and she said, oh I call you at 4:30 today. I waited around for about an hour and then called her myself using the phone number I found on the email signature. All to get a, 'sorry, I lost track of time, unfortunately we will not be offering you the job, it seems you were unprepared and your initial example for project management wasn't detailed enough'. Obviously my answer wasn't as detailed as others, I didn't know the presentation topic! Anyway, in a way, I'm glad they turned me down so I didn't have to do it myself. With all of that said, the interviewers were lovely and it may have been a good work environment but the HR team and the interview process and communication was terrible and put me off the company.
