The process began by two "informal" competency based interviews by the member of the team that I would be part of. Prior to the interview, I was not familiar with the company, therefore a lot of time was spent looking at the website, reading financial statements etc to gain understanding and context of the current situation. There were six interview in total, these ranged from competency based, to personality and culture fit. The interviewers were friendly and were clearly interested in how my activities outside of work might affect my approach to a career within the firm.
Overall, I think the interview process was onerous because it was spread over 3 months with 6 in total. Eventually, you ended up saying the same things at different installments. My advice for applicants would be to consider the culture fit for the department you are working for. There are very intelligent people in the firm working very long hours, if you are considering an application, i would suggest the majority of the post interview questions are on fit because this will make the difference,
