Best Buy interview questions

I applied on-line and took the mandatory personality test on a Sunday. By Tuesday I was called by an HR person who did a basic interview asking me about my interest in working for Best Buy, what hours I'd be available and what departments I'd be interested in, we then scheduled a 1:1 interview for that Friday. I met with the Customer Relations Manager who was nice; he asked several questions pertaining to customer and interpersonal relationships, some of the questions required a bit of thought though. He then said he would call in a few days to schedule a third interview, which I'm currently waiting for.

First you fill out an application online and go through their personality test. Usually if they are satisfied with the personality test and your application they will call you in for an interview. The interview consists on talking one on one with the manager of the department/store such as answering questions given from the manager and standard questions Best buy directs. If the interview goes well, the manager will pass your application on to another manager, usually a GM or DM where another interview will take place. The next interviewer will review some of the answer the last interviewer wrote down and also ask you some questions. If the GM is satisfied with your application, they usually will offer employment to you right there. After you sign your employment, they will inform you that you need to pass your background check (already usualy in progress at the time) and you need to pass a drug screening within 24 hrs. After taking the test, the applicant should call the store after 2 days to make sure that the company received the results. If everything goes well, the applicant will take part in a 5-6 hr new hire training period. The interview process if very professional and straight forward. Remember to be yourself and most importantly, DRESS UP! The first impression is the most important, especially with a store of such high volume. I think a shirt, slacks and a tie is perfect. Nothing less!
