I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BigCommerce (Austin, TX) in Feb 2020
Interview
The overall interview process took about 4 weeks from first interview to offer. As someone who has been in the executive support role for over 15 years, I understand the need to ensure a good fit. That being said, the length and the depth of the interview process wasn't a problem for me at all.
The hiring manager kept me informed every step of the way and was incredibly gracious when an interview needed to be rescheduled or pushed. Again, this is to be expected when you're supporting an executive leadership team.
I interviewed with roughly 12 people throughout the process and every single one was professional, engaging and open about the rewards and challenges of the role. Having been unemployed for 6 months prior and been on multiple interviews at other companies, this was a refreshing change of pace.
I couldn't have asked for a better interview experience and I'm incredibly lucky to have landed at BC with such a great group of leaders!

Interview
They really are picky about the people they hire and that's what makes the team so great. Don't apply for Bigcommerce if you expect easy interviews and a 1-2 week process. I went through 3 rounds of interviews which took about 4 weeks. Part of that is because my recruiter went on a week vacation. The interview process was simple and well communicated but the interviews themselves were challenging. They really want to make sure you not only have the skills but are the type (values) of person they want to hire.
