This was an absolute mess! first a recruiter reached out and set a phone interview. After the initial phone screening and rescheduling twice, I waited 3 weeks to talk to the hiring team on the phone, which was pretty straightforward. Then I was scheduled for on-site interview, which was the worst interview experience I've ever had. This step was also rescheduled 3 times. First they said it's gonna be on zoom, and scheduled it. Then, 3 days to the interview, they rescheduled an on-site. Again, rescheduled for the 3rd time due to people being on PTO. Finally, I went on-site for the interview. After 2 hours of presentation, we went to 1:1 talks and it was also very straightforward. Honestly the team did not have any complex questions for me, and I felt it will be underselling myself to get the job. They kept me waiting for 2 weeks, and then told me "you're overqualified for this position". Offered me another position; but at this point I felt this is not a place that respects the candidate experience, and will probably not going to respect the employee.
Dude...you had my resume for almost 3 months...how couldn't you see that I'm overqualified?
