Worst interview I have ever been on. All three women lacked any sense of professionalism, passion, or brains. Throughout the short interview they never seemed aligned on questions and barely asked me about my experience. The second we got to the salary they stopped the interview and questioned my current rate. Extremely unprofessional. Honestly, I was disappointed in the entire process and let down that Bluemercury has individuals in their leadership roles that are clearly lacking the ability to inspire candidates to join their team. It felt like a cattle call vs. a true interest in me or what I could contribute to a growing company. The final question was if I could "do a full face of makeup with lashes"? This is the question they are asking a store manager! Yes, an important skill but driving sales, developing a team, and providing a great customer experience should be the theme of the job. As I mentioned worst experience I have ever had. So unfortunate too!
