A recruiter from Bozzuto contacted me to interview for the position. It was a relatively pleasant interview process, somewhat drawn out though. In following up with my recruiter after my interview, she never responded to me. I had to email her a second time after the director responded to my email. She then asked (via email on a Friday at 3 PM) that I call her the following Monday, just to share that they moved forward with other candidates. It would have been more professional and better use of everyone's time if she did not drag it out so long. She could have sent an email stating I didn't get the position instead of having me call her to deliver the bad news. Ultimately, this was a blessing in disguise. Bozzuto is privately own and tends have a backward mindset when it comes to allowing their corporate recruiters work remotely. They treat it as a privilege after a year of service one day a month, versus being a part of your normal work-life balance. This not a steady strategy for 2018.
