Presentation
Panel
This was a legitimately burdensome, disorganized interview process, with unclear instructions and expectations throughout. It didn't seem like they knew what they wanted from the candidate in the role and asked for an obscene amount of work in the presentation portion of the interview, which is standard across roles within the company's interview processes. The questions asked by the hiring manager weren't what were in the original job description. I left the process feeling unsure of how the company gets such high marks for culture if this is how candidates are treated.

Question 1
Talk about a marketing and creative strategy you've developed.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Braze in Dec 2024
Interview
Overall the process moved quickly with good transparency. None of the 6 interviews I had were more than 30 minutes, and decisions were communicated within a day or two. The company has a more structured process on how they conduct interviews and make internal decisions than most I have talked to. What set them apart was the provision of detailed, honest feedback after the decision. Hugely helpful and sadly, rare.
