I was called by a recruiter and scheduled for an interview a few days later at 9am. I called the recruiter back to come in later, around 1pm that day. Around 9:30am, I received a call from the Director asking where I was. The recruiter didn't bother to notify the interviewing Director that I had pushed the time back. I arrived about 25 minutes early because I wasn't familiar with the area. When I arrived, the Director was on the phone. She whispered that I was early, and asked me could I come back. I politely told her that I could just wait, and that I understood I was early. I explained that I didn't want to leave (Go where? I was quite a ways from anything familiar.). I was sent to a room, where I sat alone for a while. The Director went into her office, shut the door, and I never saw or heard from her again. A man later came into the office and stated that he was interviewing me because I didn't want to leave and come back. That led me to believe the Director was annoyed with me. The man that interviewed me wasn't very professional and seems a bit antagonistic. He depicted the position in a negative light, giving all negative scenarios. I know that I was over qualified for the position. As I was sitting there, I knew I didn't want to work there. I didn't follow up, and I never heard from them again.
