I applied online. I interviewed at Brilliant Earth
Interview
From start to finish, the entire recruiting process took less than two weeks. I received an email asking for an initial phone screen. After the phone screen which covers the general duties of the job, I was brought in for an in person interview. Finally, I had a final phone screen with the team manager and CEOs which lead to a job offer.

Interview
I received an email requesting a phone interview. The phone interview was pretty informal, I felt like the screener was asking me questions off the top of her head, and the background was extremely noisy. Afterward, I received an email requesting a face to face interview two days later. I was interviewed by two people who ask me a variety of questions about my skills and experiences. Pretty informal, not very behavioral focused as many other interviews are. The tone I got from the interview was that they were highly interested in my as a candidate, and that this was more of a formality. The second interviewer told me that next steps would be a phone call with the CEO. I walked away from the interview feeling very confident and excited about the opportunity. Two days later I received the 'we're looking for candidates that have skills that align with our current needs' email that it sounds like several other applicants received. I think it would've helped me if they had not given the impression that I was the right fit, and if they had provided feedback throughout the process. Creating a conversation surrounding their concerns about my current experiences may have resulted in a different outcome. I walked away from the experience feeling very mislead.
