I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bullhorn (Boston, MA)
Interview
I applied online. Took an assessment online that is supposed to analyze my critical reading and math skills. Went through an automated process with 5 questions a recruiter asked. Went onsite to have interviews with 5 different people: VP of product, two designers, product manager and one person from engineering team.
The process is very pleasant. Everyone seem really kind and interested in what I had to say. Afterwards, I received replies to my thank you notes.

Question 1
General questions, what my design process is, how do I handle conflict between product managers etc.
Started with a virtual video interview where you answer questions in front of your webcam yourself. Got a email for an interview with someone from the team. Mostly just questions about how you would go about certain projects.

After submitting my resume for this position a link to an online test was sent to me. The test is timed and you will be able to take it anytime you prefer. After finishing the test I got a following up email to schedule a phone interview. HR called me directly by phone, no zoom or teams conference link.

When HR contacted me to schedule a phone interview they indicated that they already have a few finalists. The call was pretty casual.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bullhorn (Boston, MA) in Mar 2020
Interview
I reached out to the recruiter on LinkedIn and had a phone screen. That went well and next I had a phone call with the hiring manager, who was very enthusiastic. After that I took an SAT-like online test and personality assessment which I thought was a pretty unfair was to judge skill, but I am not sure how heavily it actually contributes to the hiring process and might just be a way to test how people think on their feet. A few days later I came on-site and had 4 interviews with people on the team. I received positive feedback from the manager and had an offer a couple days later.
