Applied online, contacted by a recruiter. Immediately shot down my experience and started salary negotiation. After pre-screening 1st interview was set with DM for eastern region, the guy was phenomenal, great attitude and genuine. Had a wonderful interview and I was then scheduled for a meet and greet which was fun. Got to meet various people from the company and other applicants, all of which came from chase surprisingly. Met the VP and from our brief interaction she liked me, she even quoted me in her speech. Next day second interview was setup. As soon as I walked in it felt rushed and as if I was a bother to the guy, I am guessing either they already hired the person or I was interrupting something. He asked me some questions and then wrapped it up fairly quickly. I did not feel confident in this interview. Couple of days later I received the generic rejection email, I called recruiter to find out the why, her answer? Because I lack banking experience. I didn't know whether to laugh or scream at her, when the very first time she picked up my resume, couldn't she just see that I didn't have banking experience and not make me jump through hoops and waste my time? That was completely unprofessional, I will never want to work for such a company.
