I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Charlie Health
Interview
Too many red flags to count. The process started off with a phone screen. It went well at first but as the call progressed I got a sense of arrogance and condescension. He disclosed that they just closed a successful funding round but declined to give details as the owners are “private.” The second person I interviewed with must’ve been the only person available that day. He asked me a series of questions that have nothing to do with the job. I’m quite certain he googled “interview questions” 90 seconds before our interview. At this point I discovered that the talent team has no structure or leadership with actual recruiting experience. I got the sense that most of the direction comes from the COO who has no actual experience in the recruiting world.
I wouldn’t have moved forward anyway but I was ghosted after the 2nd round which told me everything else I needed to know about the company.
Please stop what you are doing immediately and start looking for a strong leader with experience growing start-ups to build your talent team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard interview questions you probably answered while interviewing for a part-time job in high school. And of course the ridiculous dominos question.
We value your time and are taking steps to amend the parts of our interview process that didn’t meet your expectations. We’re sorry we missed the mark. Our company wouldn’t be able to improve and grow without feedback, so we appreciate your insights.

initial video call, then you have to take an assessment that has nothing to do with recruiting and took almost 2 hours. I then was moved to the next round where the person that interviewed me asked bizzare questions. i kept being asked if i had questions i wanted her to ask about my resume..
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Charlie Health
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me we had a phone screen. Then they send you a matching test. If you pass they send you additional screening questions. If approved to move forward you speak with a recruiting lead who will be late to the meeting and seem disinterested in the conversation that just rapid fires questions at you. If you move forward you complete a sourcing exercise. Whole process felt like they were just trying to hit their metrics which isn’t surprising as the team sounds like they’re very “metrics driven”.
