Standard interview process: 1. Phone screen with recruiter 2. 1 hour JavaScript algorithm coding interview. As far as coding interviews go, this one was pretty simple and straightforward. 3. Loop that consisted of: - Behavioral interview with hiring manager - UI react coding/debugging interview - Algorithm coding interview - System Design interview The final loop was great and all the interview questions were relevant to the job description except for the system design interview. I was asked on how I would design the architecture for the backend systems and I was pretty thrown off. It didn't seem relevant to the role at all and they should've changed the job description to fullstack if they wanted someone with more backend knowledge.
