I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Circle K (Greenwood Village, Arapahoe, CO) in Feb 2019
Interview
Received text from the internal recruiter that did not identify himself. Asked if I was interested in the position and if the salary range would I still be interested. Then scheduled to ask when I was available. Had to follow up to confirm time and place. Never giving his name. Once I got to office there is no receptionist just a room with a phone and directory. Still did not have recruiters name. Text him and was he showed up quickly. The interview went well and had a good conversation. Told them I was very interested in the job and was told they would follow up with me the following week. Sent a handwritten not taking them for the interview. He never answered txt. Very disrespectful of my time.
I was brought in via an internal recruiter. Everything seemed fine. I had to reschedule the interview with the hiring manager twice. Once I actually had the interview, the manager was very distracted. Due to the time zone difference UK vs EST in the US, the manager was at home, battling a crying child and dog. I thought I did well, but the job was not at all as the job posting described it, leaving me feeling as though the Recruiter barely paid any attention and was seeking to meet a quota for passing me along.
I got off the call with the hiring manager and a week later, the recruiter told me I would have a follow-up. The follow-up never happened. I never heard anything again.
Short 45 min call but laster 25 mins, but irrelavent questions asked. Mostly was about stakeholder conflict resolution but the role was about product manager for data governance projects initiations.
Very conversational and easy. Wasn't asked behavioral or typical interview questions. Just an open, two-way conversation that allowed for both parties to see if it was a mutual fit. Minimal involvement from HR which would have been helpful for some of the standard process and logistics.
