I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2014
Interview
First got in contact through a job post on my university's career center website. Had an initial interview with a recruiter where we discussed the position and my skills that could be used for that position. Second interview was with a research director with a similar interview. Then I followed up again with the recruiter to discuss an offer.

I applied online. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Richmond, VA)
Interview
Extremely lengthy. 4 stages over about 2 months. Panel interview that took 6 hours. One panelist did not show and added another interview stage. Due to length, I found a better offer and declined after finally getting to an offer.

Basic interview, that lasted one or two instances. Shadowed researcher and made some calls with the interviewer. The whole process was quick and lasted less than a month, average difficulty overall for the process.
