Recruiter call, then take home online assessment, then hiring manager.
The take home online assessment was a waste of time. Any company who provides that should be banned. They exploit the time for the interviewee. Even though it was a medium level problem, they shouldn't test someone with take home assessment, as with chatgpt anyone is a programmer nowadays.
After passing the take home assessment there was the hiring manager round. The hiring manager was extremely incompetent in terms of technical knowledge. I don't know how he managed to get that job.
I felt like they already hired for that position and just wanted to waste time.
