Cook Medical Inc interview questions

I applied on the website, was notified 2 weeks later that a recruiter would be in contact with me. Recruiter called me at 6 AM to set up an interview. I happened to be awake, but this was rather unprofessional. Had the phone interview and moved me right along for an in-person interview with the hiring manager. I was interviewing for a territory that I did not live in, so I had to pay for my own flight, etc. The interview itself was rather uncomfortable based on being in a busy location. The questions were all over the place and some of them had nothing to do with the position (If you could be a fruit, what would you be?). They got back to me within a week letting me know that I did not get the position. Here's the kicker, I didn't receive a phone call or personalized email from the internal recruiter. I got a standardized rejection letter that you typically receive when you apply online and the system rejects you.

Far from a quick process. Many people involved in process. I believe I met with at least 10 different people. Process took 3 months. Started with phone interview and I then was invited on site 4 different times. Each time I met with various managers. A couple managers asked which job I applied for again? I thought that was odd. At one point I was told it was between myself and one other person. Then was told they hired the other person. A month later called back to have me come in as it was between myself and one other person again. Very frustrating. After the process and that happening, I was concerned as to if I'd be happy working with them.
