I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cox Communications in Feb 2024
Interview
First round was phone call with the recruiter, he first emailed to schedule the call and then he missed the call, only to text and ask to call in half an hour. Second round was a panel interview with the hiring manager and 2 of the data scientists on their team, they introduce themselves and ask you about your projects and technical skills. I was rejected after this round because they claimed the level of technical skills demonstrated did not align what they required to excel in the role, however they didn't ask much about the technical skills except to rate how good I am at python/R/SQL. The recruiter I had didn't respond to emails in a timely manner, and was not very helpful in the process. The team themselves were warm and friendly.
