I cannot compare this to any interview I have ever had, but the process felt very programmed and impersonal. Not rude at all, but checking the boxes. Interacted with the interviewer a multitude of times leading into interview, and have not heard back after multiple follow ups on my part.
Still in process, I spoke with two members of the PMO, both seemed like nice guys who were on career paths committed to the automotive industry.
It was one of those interviews where we all vibed, great energy. Lots of situational questions, priority questions, how you obtain alignment.
They're going thru a transformation into a product lead org. Admitted there's a lot of executive order taking going on. Really appreciated their transparency.
From what I gathered they really need people committed to building up product culture, organizational culture around product development.
Most engineering resources are domestic and they typically work off EST, this is now a fully remote organization (from what they told me)

Excellent communication throughout the process. All team members were amiable and bought into their established culture. The final interview was with a panel with a presentation and round-robin questioning. The topic of the presentation was focused on diving deep into your favorite product.
