Crunchyroll Senior Software Engineer interview questions

Started with a phone screening with a recruiter, followed by another screening with the hiring manager a few days later. Afterwards I was given a code test that was to be presented during my onsite interview. The recruiter, Tiffany, was very responsive and provided timely feedback for each step of the process. The company flew me out and set up accommodations for me at a local hotel for my onsite. Tiffany was there every step of the way ensuring everything was set for my trip. The onsite started with a tour of the office and a short meeting with Tiffany who actually let me borrow a laptop for the presentation since I forgot mine. I presented to two members of the team and a department head. Next Tiffany ordered us lunch (since it was Friday and the company only caters M-Thurs) and had a follow up informal lunch meeting with her. Next I met with the product owner of the team I was interviewing for as well as the hiring manager. The final meeting was a coding question where you have to write an algorithm for the problem presented by another interviewer. After that we said our goodbyes and about a week later I was informed about the outcome of the interview.

I was messaged by a recruiter on LinkedIn who told me that the hiring manager was very interested in my background and that they would like to set up an interview. I had a phone interview, and the recruiter said it was their first week, and after talking for 20 minutes they said they really liked my background, and that they would forward my information to the hiring manager. A few hours after there were questions the recruiter neglected to ask, and followed up with me about them over email. It has been about a month and I have not heard back since I followed up with the answers to the additional questions. Based on the awful reviews from past employees on glassdoor, it sounds like the culture is not good here. The recruiter who reached out to me could have said "I think you would be a good fit for this position." Instead of lying that the hiring manager was already interested. They probably were desperate to meet a quota to look good in their first week, and I consider it offensive.
