1st step was recruiter interview in which she talks about your background and what makes you consider Data-dog. 2nd step with the hiring manager which dive deeper into your background . You would want to talk about sales process (Meddicc) 3rd step onsite which is 2 hours long with 4 30 minutes interview. Boston site was really nice. Very informative. 4th disco call which if you study it should go as plan One thing I will say . Datadog is more of a Start up company and it actually shows . I think they will be very successful in the future but as I said it’s a startup company. Things you will notice very quickly that will raise concerns and also will show why they have low retention. Sales background is not the main reason you will get the position. This is more of tech job but with an executive title. Probably not suited for a person with an extensive sales background. Secondly , they have a type and I don’t mean just a techie type . They have a big diversity problem . I literally walked in there and I noticed very quickly this ain’t your ordinary corporate setting . More like a frat that most likely wouldn’t like corporate sales in different companies but love the thought of being with a company who grew very quickly .. did I say they have a type … it’s very clear diversity will be a issue here and you might see a sprinkle of diversity on LinkedIn but I dare you to look at everyone past background and you notice everyone really have worked in Sales previously and also they all look the same. But hey what do I know .
