Interview process was a 3 week process until final decision. 3 Phone Interviews, One in Person Interview, One Zoom Interview. Helpful tips: STUDY and then STUDY more about their products and their competitors, and know them extensively. Must share why you are excited about Datadog/Tech industry. My answer was received very well. My interviewers were appreciative of the research I had done into their different products and how my research complimented my answer. Though my only piece of feedback was that I wasn't excited enough about Datadog which was very confusing. Expect 15+ Behavioral Type questions, and follow up questions. My Interview prep with a current SDR was discouraging as she had no interest in talking with me and rushed me off the phone while she was eating and on her way out. She did not offer anything productive to the conversation. I had great support up until this point. Ensure that you nail your cold call role play in person. I asked a lot of questions at the end of the interview, specific to their roles. There was a lot of hesitancy around the relationships between AE's and SDR/SDR Managers, they communicated they don't have the best working dynamic and there is a lack of support there which isn't encouraging environment for a current SDR to be working towards. One of the SDR Managers interviewing was very new to the role and shared his lack of knowledge into the products and understanding of how to manage his team, which myself and the other interviewer were surprised at. This is most likely not a great Tech space to start out in, but could be a great place after several years of experience.
