Fluorescent-tagged particles are hydro dynamically focused while passing through sample injection port and are intersected by lasers. This process emits fluorescence intensity depending on size and complexity of the particles and are detected by photo detectors. Analog signals from protectors are converted digital signals by a microprocessor that finally generate an output in the software.
